On November 15, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. CST join Doctors Pedro T. Ramirez and David M. Kushner in a live webcast presentation about "Novel Gynecologic Oncology Procedures" using Harmonic energy technology. Dr. Ramirez is Associate Professor, Director of Minimally Invasive Surgical Research & Education Department of Gynecologic Oncology, at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Kushner is Director, Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI.

The OR-Live.com presentation will feature techniques in total laparoscopic hysterectomy with BSO, pelvic and para-aortic lymphadenectomy, and radical trachelectomy. The presentation will detail the steps of total laparoscopic hysterectomy for uterine cancer. Complete laparoscopic pelvic and para-aortic lymphadenectomy will be demonstrated, including full dissection of the pelvic sidewall and removal of lymph nodes to the level of the renal vessels.
