On November 15, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. CST join Doctors Pedro T. Ramirez and David M. Kushner in a live webcast presentation about "Novel Gynecologic Oncology Procedures" using Harmonic energy technology. Dr. Ramirez is Associate Professor, Director of Minimally Invasive Surgical Research & Education Department of Gynecologic Oncology, at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Kushner is Director, Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI. The presentation will detail the steps of total laparoscopic hysterectomy for uterine cancer. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
