Gardasil patient assistance program

Merck has announced a Vaccine Patient Assistance program for uninsured low-income adults. Must be over 19 and a US resident (but not necessarily a citizen). Income levels less than 19,600 for individuals, 26,400 for couples, 40,000 for a family of 4. Vaccines available include Gardisil, MMR II, Pneumovax 23, Recombivax HB, Vaqta (Hep A), Varivax, and Zostavax. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
