A shift of gears- has anyone else noticed that bad news in OB and medicine in general tends to cluster in 3's? 3 gastroschisis pregnancies walked in the office last week, all due within 10 days of each other... 3 surprise lethal anomaly exams in a row at the end of the day yesterday... 3 recent losses out of 4 twins delivered early last month... Almost makes you want to clear the waiting room and send everybody home after you see #2 .....

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
