Re: Gyn: Recurrent dysplasia--another caseFrom: ainsron (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Thu Nov 2 07:40:39 2006
Agree. That is also what was recommended by the experts on a recent ACOG update I listened to. They were very concerned about the risks of repeated LEEPs in younger patients. They would not recommend a repeat LEEP unless HGSIL, and then would probably opt for cold knife conization to allow more controlled excision of the lesion. Ronald E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
