Unless the bedrest is for spotting and bleeding... Given her history, LMW heparin might be a good option...might consider a lower dose recipe ...and the Anesthesiologists might want her off this for 2-3 days prior to epidural/spinal , particularly if testing is not readily available. One group here in town is insistent on this, others less so.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
