I read a couple of books on dueling. Mostly in the "Old South." Pretty cool.

One of the best local stories -- there was a duel between some doctors from Charity Hospital, I believe, and one guy had a chronic empyema which spontaneously drained when he was shot in the chest. Pretty neat. Healed by losing a duel.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
