We are definitely moving away from the art and craft of medicine to rote "industrialized" process. I am afraid that ours is the last generation to practice "skillful obstretrics". Essentially anyojne graduating in the past 5-10 years of residency will not be trained or doing vaginal twins, breeches, forceps etc. Babies will either fall out or be sectioned. andrew

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
