Annual ABOG exams

Hi folks

I know a number of you have been doing the annual board certification exams.

I sent in a letter asking for the application for 2007 etc - a month ago and have heard nothing back yet.

I sent in the same request early this year to begin doing it on 2006 - and never got anything from the ABOG.

I followed all the instructions - but no response from the ABOG offices.

I have just resent the request this past week.

Any hints on how to get a response out of ABOG?

I was first certed in 1987 and did the review course and re-cert in 1997 - therefore I expire as a Board Certified ObGyn at the end of 2007. This is the year I really have to start doing it.

Any thoughts on why I get no response from the bureaucrats???

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
