Andrew Foley

You, and we, have the medical superiority to urge patients to follow a course of therapy that you recommend. However, neither you, or any of us, have any superiority to recommend any moral or religious course of action.

Efrain said it: We may not agree with our patients, but we are not in a position to judge them, and our responsibility to them is not to deny or block access. Well said Ef

P.S. I object to your condemning our colleagues who condone abortion as murderers. You do not have the moral or religious superiority to do that.

P.S. #2. Abortion I believe will always be an unresolved controversy, with a "he says, she says" argument going no where. -------------------------------------------

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
