Re: Gyn: purulent vag dischargeFrom: Andrew Folley (agfolley@hotmail.com)Mon Sep 25 14:21:18 2006
All I can share is anecdotal reports of 4 ladies I had in 20 years with chronic vaginal discharge that ended up being "chronic inflammatroy mucchorrea". I eventually could see the discharge simply oozing out of the cervix. I do not think you will find it in the text books. All four resolved with vaginal hysterectomy. I think it must have something to do with hyperplastic glands of the endocervix .....?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
