_Death During ER Wait Ruled a Homicide_ (http://abcnews.go.com/) A woman whose death occurred in an ER waiting room was ruled a homicide by the coroner's jury, allowing the possibility of criminal prosecution. They claim the woman should have been in the emergency department "much quicker and received the care that we have in modern medicine." Nationwide, the average wait in an ER room is four hours because of an increasing number of uninsured patients and ER shut-downs.
