Re: Florida Medical Students May Be Deterred From Entering ObstetricsFrom: D. Ashley Hill (dahmd@cfl.rr.com)Tue Sep 5 11:34:56 2006
This validates what I hear in the doctor's lounge every day. My 3rd-year students tell me all the time how cool it would be to pursue ob/gyn, but they decide not to because of the liability problem in Florida. Of note, most also don't want to work as hard as ob/gyn physicians work. Ashley

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
