Bernard,

There is no standard in Europe.

In Europe there are at least 6 schools of thought that I know personally of, French, UK, West and East German, Romanian and Russian. And I have no clue what happens in Spain, Italy and other places.

The rupture rates have nothing to do with other countries per se, but perhaps with other techniques.

I don't think 2 layers is worse than one, takes one minute longer, and makes me feel better. I *HAVE* seen onlayer closure com eloose once with catastrophic results.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
