Very well said; someone may well object and make an official objection.

It isn't worth bending the rules anymore to accomodate people, and, in many ways, that is a shame.

I really don't think having a non-medical husband scrub for a C/S is a good idea--in fact, it is preposterous. Even if a physician or other professional, it doesn't seem like a good idea.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
