The cheapest if of course a (vicryl) suture.

However the staples cost a s much as one or two minutes in theatre and I take 5 to 7 for the suture.

Dermabond is immensely expensive.

And, whether it is the hospital that invoices or the doctor, someone has to pay. Usually the insurance, which of course will try to lower its costs, eventually...
