I would be interested in studying what percentage of post-op c/s
patients end up needing an appointment, but this probably varies
depending on the community and the OB. Many years ago we tried skipping
the 2 week visit and patients called repeatedly with questions and
concerns, so we reinstated the 2 week visit, although with a nurse. It's
a major surgery and I suspect patients (and their families) want a
little TLC afterwards. Thx.
