Re: Imperforate / Cribiform hymenFrom: Kokumo Oyakhire (koyakhire@yahoo.co.uk)Tue Aug 1 11:47:53 2006
In communities where great premium is placed on "the intact hymen", excision was hard to sell to my client (patient and/or mother). The mother opted for the "sanitary pad". Management should therefore be tailored to the acceptable values of the community in which we practice. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
