I am pleased to report a first in my midwifery career. I just caught twin goats. A is a male. B is female. Mother and babies all doing well. It is amazingly different from human birth, while still reassuringly familiar. The most startling thing is the gelatinous quality of the amniotic fluid, which you cup in your hands and feed to the mother as she labors to give her energy. No gloves! The normal presentation is also different, as you might well expect. The best part is that ungulates never sue. The money's not great, but the job satisfaction is excellent. Cheri

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
