Re: Update on 28M urogyn lawsuitFrom: Charlie Chambers (ricechaz@earthlink.net)Fri Jun 30 22:54:32 2006
As much as we bash lawyers for the current crisis which they probably deserve, this case makes me realize that another ob/gyn testified for the plaintiff in this case. I'm sure their testimony suggested that self cath was absolutely unheard of and should never happen in such a case. I don't know what we can do about the greedy lawyers, but you would think we could do something about these physicians who are willing to say anything for a dollar. On Jun 30, 2006, at 8:41 PM, D. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
