Re: first trimester screening consentFrom: ainsron (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Thu Jun 22 11:30:16 2006
I try to make them 1-2 pages. You can never cover the entire gamut of possibilities in any document and always have to include something to the effect other complications can occur. Ronald E. You have a lot of consents and to me it seems impossible put right down all the problems that the patients may go through. To be honest no one can do that because it´s a medical degree. You may say I don´t know the American legal system, of course I do not. I ask if when you do the consents and forgot something (important or not) is not worse than to explain to your patient. By the way you never will use the digital system. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
