Oh yes,,,, years ago, I was in a hospital that :"disappeared" letters critical of its processes, Docs that gave a crap about standards and process were quickly tagged disruptive and subjected to treatment worhthy of KGB techniques. Saddest thing was the willingness of the administration to devote dozens of administrative work hours to denial and coverup and whitewashing, as opposed to one or two simple corrective hours. Part of the process, I thought, then and now, involved for profit management contracts by a national firm, in a non profit institution. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
