For a long time, I used testosterone proprionate in oil, 20 mg./cc. I used to get it in 5 cc. bottles and the dose, I believe, was 1.0 cc IM q 3-4 weeks. Monitored pts. for hairsuitism, clitoromegally, acne, etc. Improved libido and certainly controlled otherwise hard-to-treat vasomotor activity. I must tell you, however, that I stopped my regular office/hospital practice 6 years ago, so I don't know what's out there now. I would look to your local or regional compounding pharmacy for trans dermal source or this preparation for IM dosing.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
