Well - there are two sides to the coin - if the lady gets pelvic actinomycosis - someone is going to ask for the slides - and ajá - "there they are and they did not have the decency to report it" -- the same situation is the one I see when radiologists report nuchal cords, my blood pressure goes up but -- it is up to me to explain to the patient that it is a common, dale que dale... The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
