Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for - I will go ahead with what I planned: review it with her and let her choose. Personally I would lean towards at least removing the IUD, and if that was colonized as well then treat her. Aaaah, the art of medicine...

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
