Re: Sexual abuse was Spanking babies

What is more horrifying to me than the action is that apparently the local medical community turned a blind eye. A similar situation occurred here years ago, according to rumor, with a physician who routinely performed clitorotomy on laboring women. He is also dead, Gail. But the one who has been reported to pull the cervix out to the introitus with ring forceps after birth is still practicing (before you ask, if I had ever seen it firsthand I would have reported him). He advertises a "gentle first exam for teen girls"

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
