She has Pre Judged someone, based on gender alone, to be unacceptable a priori, I repeat, simply based on gender alone. If I were to decide that my accountant, a woman, was no longer acceptable as my accountant, because, after all, don't we all know that women don't know how to manage money properly, would I be a damn fool bigot, or I am justified? I have the right to feel the way I feel, and I have the right to act on those feelings. But if I do, then there can be little argument that I am prejudiced.

I don't think that anyone is suggesting that women are not allowed their prejudices, but let's call them what they are, prejudices.

My 19 year-old daughter would not want to be examined intimately by a man. What, exactly, is she predjudiced against?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
