Re: Patient responsiblility--the followupFrom: Anna Meenan, MD (annam@uic.edu)Wed Feb 15 22:37:11 2006
Um, let's see.....angry, mentally ill, potentially suicidal pregnant lady off her meds goes to near term, drops a healthy (though small) baby with a minimum of fuss (and all expenses paid), gets back on her meds without incident, and as far as I can tell, has no reason to sue me. Considering what COULD have gone wrong, I'd say that, yes, things went pretty well, but since it occurred in the US, I'm sure you'll find something to criticize, el. I would expect nothing less from you.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
