I wouldn't advocate indifference to the bladder, but FWIW, a friend of mine (MFM) once got a successful delivery result after removing the infant through the bladder as well as the lower uterine segment. After seeing methylene blue squirt nicely out ot the ureters, he closed and drained the bladder. Mother and babe both did well over the ensuing years. H

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
