Has this period been sufficient to cause limb contracture deformities in the fetus. You say anhydramnious do you think that it may have caused lung hypoplasia in the fetus so that it will be crippled even if it survives. Is there an informed consent of the patient about what may happen to the fetus if she chooses to continue the pregnancy with tocolytics and antibiotics? Bülent In followup to my earlier post, arthrogryposis was the diagnosis. The child is now eightteen, and circumstances have been difficult for her. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
