What's this termed?From: claire constable (clairec1979@hotmail.com)Thu Jan 26 13:34:18 2006
Following a SVD today, active 3rd stage, on examining the placenta, there was central cord insertion but then out of the base of the cord 3 vessels looped round (quite big individual loops, easily big enough for baby to have got a foot/arm through, then back to embed into the placenta. Any ideas what this is, no one on shift had seen it before? Thanks Claire

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
