It's probably not as flagrant as in days of yesteryear, since there are limits and all now, but I perceived that "RECEIVING WELFARE" was, indeed, a "job" in which many of our patients (at the "Big Free," where else?) were employed. They knew every kink, every jiggle, every hole in the system. They knew where and how and how much and who and each and every whatever that went into getting the most buck for the bang, so to speak. I remember thinking, if they put THAT MUCH effort into a conventionaly job, they'd be rich Republicans!!! Joe P.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
