I bet there is a wlak in clinic on every 6th block in Houston and every one
of the 18 hospitals in Houston offer some type of preventative care to the
indigent population in one form or another besides the traditional ER.
Unfortunately the indigent populaiton still like to use the ER as their
"cough and cold" clinic and the 911 ambulance service as their taxi to the
ER.
