Adult VaccinationsFrom: Charlie Chambers (ricechaz@gorge.net)Mon Dec 12 21:23:32 2005
Came across something that stumped me today. I have a pregnant patient who had no vaccinations as a child. Obviously, after delivery she'll need a postpartum rubella. We had figured we'd go ahead and give her a MMR. The question becomes does she need to have series? And if so, what's the timing? Thanks ************************************************************************ * Charlie Chambers -- Hood River, OR cchamber@alumni.rice.edu

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
