No, but I believe he still looks at the lining of the uterus first. The purpose of this is to R/O the incomplete or even near complete AB. In our institution we mostly do a Menstrual Aspiration and then float he tissue in saline and look for villi under the operating microscope. About once a month it keeps us from treating an Ab with Methotrexate. Dan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
