I too am considering removal from the list. The format has degenerated from it original intent as a forum for ob/gyn physicians, to a free for all between MD's, CNMW's and lay midwives. The birthing thread is redundant and to a large extent is an educational vehicle for lay midwives. Let us return to our original format. I am tired of deleting repetitive opinions on a subject that has had enough commentary. JGB

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
