Vicki, with all due respect, it already IS bad. You should not be left responsible for this patient. It is outside of your scope of practice, and you would not have a leg to stand on when things go south. (farther south....temp 101 on triples is pretty much south.....)

I would formally transfer her care. It could get really ugly, really fast.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
