It's very different here. A woman regardless of risk can insist on a homebirth, we midwives as part of our rules and code of professonal conduct have a duty to attend. We CANNOT refuse to care but we have a support network like a supervisor of midwives that will support us in these situations.

Incidentally, what situations do you think would definitely result in the death of mother and baby?
