I thought we already "knew" that high or prolonged estrogen levels predispose or accelerate or somehow are correlated with breast cancer. This seems to be a no-brainer and well-accepted. So it follows that ANYTHING associated with increased or prolonged estrogen would be associated with breast cancer as well. Such as: - obesity - prolonged amenorrhea - PCOS - exogenous estrogen - estrogen secreting tumors - and on and on So anything that is associated with THESE things, like fat babies (from fat mamas), should simply be understood. So why do we have to do "reasearch" and publish papers to demonstrate the obvious?

You can fill in your own answers.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
