As I step back and gaze at this, I'm awed.

And I'm not easily awed. After all, we have IEDs and RPGs and UAVs, and we have the old MPH and MMHG and the "science" stuff we all learnd, and of course we have VBACs and POOL and LAVH and all that OB-GYN stuff.

But to think we have new monikers for "unassisted childbirth" and "unassisted pregnancy" is just . . . well, it's just a bit much. The fact that the concept is entrenched enough to have a label is just plain distressing.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
