Folks who commit such a scam as Garry described should be held liable for the full balance of your bill. They should acknowledge this upfront so there is no mistake later. I would also suggest that action be taken against the "home birth midwife" involved. I'm sure the State Health Department might want to know about such practitioners.

Garry, don't let 'em get away with this fraud.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
