Liability - takes cojones.

Reimbursement - takes altruism.

Deceit - take a hike. If someone is going to prospectively and knowingly use you (your practice) like that, they can't be trusted to do ANYTHING "right."

What do you think a PATIENT would say if the doctor (or other healthcare provider) acted the same way? How do patients react when "my doctor told me he'd deliver me but when I went into labor, he was out of town and got some stranger . . . ."?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
