We have a Physical Therapist who specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction ... she has done a GREAT job with a number of my patients with pain due to the levators / urogenital diaphragm spasm. Some of these patients had been abused - one had some major vulvar surgery before she was coitally active ... It has been really great to have this PT person here and able to do this.

So before paralyzing her with BoTox - talk to your PT program. E-mail me off list if you want and I can get you more info &/or a contact here in Keene if your favorite PT person wants more info on PT for the pelvic floor.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
