2 am call from pt. of a physician in the same practice when I was on call.

Pt. "I am wheezing and coughing and can't sleep" Me: "how long has this been going on?" PT: "2 weeks" Me: "What have you done for the past 2 weeks?" Pt: "I went to the ER, and they gave me an inhaler, but I threw it away because I thought it might not be safe in pregnancy"

Another 2 am call, a different patient, different practice My boyfriend's penis is pink and peeling after we have sex. What should he do?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
