Re: Jawdroppers...From: Joanne Bulley, MD (islesannie@yahoo.com)Mon Oct 24 20:04:05 2005
10:30PM ... "I'm 9 months pregnant, can I vacuum my house?" Ans: "sure - then come vacuum mine" 0200: ... "I had a conization 4 weeks ago and was told I couldn't have sex for 6 weeks. Can I have oral sex?" But this is the question that really takes the cake on DUMB questions ... Asked multiple times during his wife's pregnancy: "How big is a virgin's vaginal opening?" By the way -- he wasn't a virgin - he carried genital HSV. She had conceived between the wedding and when her first menses was due (thus no menses) and he wondered if she had had a fling immediately before the wedding. I wanted to reply with, "Did you measure it on your wedding night?!" They stayed together and had three more kids. Go Figure. Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
