She then had a full DEXA showing osteopenia (my partner attended to this). He recommended a biphosphonate. She is bottle feeding and never breast fed. She then called for my opinion. My opinion is that I'm not so sure about pre-menopausal DEXAs, and she needs an evaluation (see the internist/endocrinologist) first. Opinions welcome. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
