Oooops! Signing a contract less than 24 hours after conscious sedation? That's a no-no. My gastroenterologist specifically cautioned, verbally and in writing, against any major financial or legal transactions for 24 hours after my colonoscopy. He once had a patient threaten to sue him over same until he pointed ont the line in the post-op instructions.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
