Agree w/ Dan.

The war is against anaerobes and Clostridia, with septic shock lurking at the door. In dire advanced morbidity, hyperbaric oxygenation has even been used in the 1960s. Sam is also rich with live experience from that era. Problem is he doesn't have any gray hair left. Heparin makes sense to me, depending on morbidity.
