Yep, I was certified for life in 1971. Then I recerted in 1991which was good for several years the starting in 2001, I started doing the ABC. It makes you read severalarticles that some guru somewhere thinks are important. I have found them to be interesting and usually significant. Dan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
