I recruited 4 new partners in the last 2.5 years, and found that in Florida salaries are going up somewhat. The salary ranges you provided are close to what recruiters here told me you have to offer. I know several ob/gyn's in a Texas city who have limited managed care and who have a pre-tax (but after expenses) income of near 600K. I was shocked, since that's way outside what I thought was the upper-limit of ob/gyn income. I checked, and according to 2003 data from one large survey company, the 90%ile (for doctors out 5 or more years in SE US group practices) is about 460K with a median of about 250K. Ashley

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
