Miller ER 3rd, et al. Meta-analysis: High-dose vitamin E supplementation may increase all-cause mortality. Ann Int Med 2005;142:34-46.

Got the reference from an editorial on patient-oriented evidence in the American Family Physician June 1, 2005. Haven't had time to get to the library to dig up the actual article, but thought it was interesting, considering that the editorial also says that 20% of Americans over the age of 55 take vit. E every day. I guess since it's not marketed by evil drug companies and prescribed by evil doctors, there's no reason to make a stink when such news comes out.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
